What is Stand Up & Holler: Gator Nation Giving Day?

Stand Up & Holler: Gator Nation Giving Day is an all-day fundraising event, calling on the University of Florida alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents and families and friends to come together to support UF and all of its areas of positive impact in our state, nation and world.

What Does a Gift* Support?

Gifts to the Sarasota County Gator Club® directly fund our club's scholarship endowment and support students in Sarasota County who attend the University of Florida.

What is the Goal?

On February 16, 2023, we call upon all Sarasota members of The Gator Nation® to stand up and holler as we look to support our local students to reach our goal of raising $9,500.

Last year, the Sarasota County Gator Club led all Gator Clubs in the entire WORLD with 282 gifts and raised $9,400.  Thanks to our donors, our club saw dramatic improvements in both money raised ($285 in 2020 to $5,641 in 2021 to $9,400 in 2022) and individual gifts (3 in 2020 to 148 in 2021 to 282 in 2022).
